itsthesheet respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account details: email address, password hash, plan, and subscription/account status.
  • Billing metadata: Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and related subscription state.
  • Team data: team membership, invites, and associated account roles.
  • Support and feedback: contact form submissions and feature/trial feedback you send us.
  • Website analytics: page-level usage metrics via Google Analytics.
  • Optional in-app schema telemetry (opt-in): file type, column/header names, and row counts from uploaded spreadsheets. This helps us keep imports compatible as source formats evolve, including Yellow Sheet changes and future Green Sheet support.

3. Product Data

The app primarily runs in your browser. Your uploaded files and local workflow data are handled on your device unless a feature requires a backend request (for example routing or related API operations).

4. How We Use Information

  • Provide and secure accounts, authentication, downloads, and subscription access.
  • Process billing and manage plan status.
  • Operate team features, invites, and permissions.
  • Respond to support, contact, and feedback requests.
  • Improve reliability, usability, and performance of the website and service.
  • When telemetry is enabled, detect spreadsheet schema changes early so we can maintain seamless import behavior.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the service, such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics providers, under appropriate contractual terms.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Retention

We retain account and operational data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

8. Your Choices

You may contact us to request account updates or deletion, subject to legal, billing, and security obligations.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Telemetry Controls

The app includes a telemetry setting that lets you opt in or out of schema telemetry at any time. When disabled, this optional schema telemetry is not sent.
